Stefanie Onder

Stefanie Onder is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Affairs at the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. Previously, she spent 15 years in Washington, DC, with the World Bank and the School of International Service at American University. Her research focuses on environmental degradation and large-scale shocks, including natural disasters and armed conflict, in developing countries. Her work has appeared in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Development Economics, World Bank Economic Review, and World Development.
