Solomon Owusu

Solomon Owusu is Assistant Professor of Global Economic Policy at Boston University. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Development at the University of Oxford. He holds a PhD in Economics from Maastricht University and UNU-MERIT in the Netherlands. His research focuses on development economics and macro-development, particularly structural transformation, global value chains, trade, industrial development, employment, and inclusive growth in developing countries, with a particular emphasis on Africa.
