Harun Onder is the Howard G. Buffett Endowed Chair on Conflict and Development in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University. He is also the Director of the Program on Conflict and Development and the founder and the Editor-in-Chief of the Development Front. Before joining Texas A&M University, he was the Deputy Chief Economist for the Middle East and Africa Region at the World Bank, where he led large budget support operations in East Africa and strategic technical assistance programs on the economic impact analysis of conflicts and programming post-conflict recovery.
